Trucking Partners Growing Again – Announces Opening of Driver Recruiting Agency

Cullman, Alabama (PRWEB) August 17, 2011

On February 28, 2010, Dwayne Hood opened a sales agency in Cullman for the trucking industry named Trucking Partners. The company began in his home and five months later moved to an office, as Hood was joined by partner, Brett Dean. Trucking Partners started as a sales agency representing one trucking company in Alabama. Today, Trucking Partners represents seven truckload motor carriers headquartered in such states as Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.

In follow up to its rapid growth as a sales agency (approximately $ 5 MIL in new business for its carrier clients), Trucking Partners recently announced it is opening a driver recruiting agency. While its sales agency division finds new customer freight for trucking companies, Trucking Partners’ recruiting agency will help the best truck drivers and trucking companies find each other. Judy Hutchinson, an industry veteran in driver recruiting, will lead Trucking Partners’ recruiting efforts.

Hoods says “The time is right. New government regulations are making it increasingly difficult for trucking companies to find qualified drivers. We will continue growing our sales agency while we develop the recruiting agency.” Hood added, “Ultimately, Trucking Partners’ plan is to be a provider of solutions to all parties involved in the national supply chain, i.e. shippers, carriers, drivers, etc.”
