SecureUSA, Inc. released the anticipated third version of its Sidewalk Bollard. The newest version of the Sidewalk Bollard has a higher crash rating, 15,000 lbs. at 50 mph. With the addition of the new version the Sidewalk Bollard now comes in 15,000 lbs. @ 30, 40, and 50 mph crash rated versions for all different security requirements and scenarios. The new version of the Sidewalk Bollard was recently tested by Adapt Technologies, Inc.
SecureUSA, Inc. has been developing the Sidewalk Bollard series since the first of 2006. The innovative security bollard carries the same crash rating as traditional deep foundation bollards, however the Sidewalk Bollard can be installed in sidewalks with shallow excavation. The Sidewalk Bollard needs only a 9-inch foundation in most cases. The new Sidewalk Bollard series is allowing many “at risk” facilities in metropolitan areas to install bollards as a perimeter defense solution to protect their facilities against aggressors and terrorists.
