Alpine Tavern’s Second Annual Julbord and Fundraising Event for Small Champions

Alpine Tavern’s Second Annual Julbord and Fundraising Event for Small Champions

East Vail, Colorado (PRWEB) November 13, 2011

East Vail’s Swedish Chef Mats Andersson will serve as Grand Chef for the occasion and will be assisted by our own Executive Chef Paolo Busi and staff. The buffet will open at 6 PM. In addition, the Alpine Tavern is working on plans to make your evening a total celebration of Swedish culture, with beautiful costumes, Swedish décor, traditional hand crafts for sale, popular folk songs of the season, a Santa Lucia procession, and an extensive menu boasting 40 items including the first drink of schnapps and glögg (21 and older).

The cost of this year’s celebration is $ 65 per adult, $ 30 for children 6 to 10, and $ 15 for children 6 and under.

This year the Alpine Tavern gives back to Small Champions, a grass roots charitable foundation providing sports programs for young children with cognitive, physical and multiple disabilities including but not limited to cerebral palsy, down syndrome, and autism and many other unique developmental and genetic disabilities. Designed for children from Eagle County, Small Champions strives to introduce a wide variety of sports to each of its participants. Programs include skiing and snowboarding, swimming, horseback riding, rock climbing, and golf.

A donation on a separate check would be appreciated and is 100% tax deductible.

Reservations are required and must be confirmed by check or credit card. Call the Alpine Tavern at 970-393-0758.

Hrmm that was weird, my comment got eaten. Anyway I wanted to say that it’s nice to know that someone else also mentioned this as I had trouble finding the same info elsewhere. This was the first place that told me the answer. Thanks.
